Present Perfect Continuous.

How to form the Present Perfect Continuous:

 The Present Perfect Continuous is formed with the subject + auxiliary verb 'have' + been + ing form of the verb

 For the third person Present Perfect Continuous use the third person of the auxiliary verb 'have' – has + been + ing form of the verb.

 

The Present Perfect Continuous
Subject Auxiliary 'have' been verb + ing
I have been playing
You have  been playing
He has  been playing
She has  been playing
It has  been playing
We have been playing
You have  been playing
They have  been playing

 

Present Perfect Continuous - negative:

 I have not been playing / I haven't been playing.

To form the Present Perfect Continuous negative use the auxiliary verb 'have' + not (have not / haven't) + been + ing form of the verb.

For the third person Present Perfect Continuous negative use the third person of the auxiliary verb 'have' + not  (has not / hasn't) + been + ing form of the verb.

To make questions with the Present Perfect Continuous use the auxiliary verb 'have' + subject + been + ing form of the verb.
